WOODSIDE
When a young New York City family traded the city's bustle for the Wild West, they landed at a charming Tudor situated atop the hillside in Woodside, California. The wraparound porch and sprawling gardens sealed the deal, and they enlisted Kristin and the team to balance preserving the home’s charm while infusing their personality. As art collectors themselves, the process was an education in procurement and curation, including trips to flea markets, galleries, and later, dinners and concerts. The result was a home layered with pieces that hold real provenance, not just polish. The home’s existing architecture sets the language with traditional patterns and rich finishes, which the team paired with contemporary fixtures and rich colors to keep it from feeling precious.
